Independent Medical Exams for Military and Veterans

April 11, 2016

Many veterans don't know they can obtain initial mental disorder, review mental disorder, and review PTSD disability benefit questionnaires (DBQs) completed by a third party for their compensation and pension (C & P) claims.

This is particularly salient for veterans who have service-connected conditions, even at 0%, who now have mental health-related symptoms.  Take for instance someone who has major joint, pain issues, or other medical conditions (e.g., cancer, MS, diabetes) who now has anxiety or depression as a result. This is a "secondary" condition and veterans can apply for additional ratings/disability benefits.

Or, if you are a veteran who never applied for a mental disorder and are now wanting to make a service-connected claim, this is a way for you to do so without waiting months or years for the VA to evaluate you.

If you are interested, check out and/or share this link, I am able to complete these evaluations as an independent medical examiner for military or veterans in CO, HI, NV, and overseas and I offer very reasonable rates.
