Dr. Leah Wingeart is a clinical psychologist, based in Henderson NV, providing assessment, evaluation, treatment, and consultation as a licensed psychologist in NV, HI, CO, & AZ.

I am a clinical psychologist, currently licensed in Nevada, Hawaii, Arizona and Colorado. I also have authorization to provide tele services in various states per PSYPACT.
Of my formal education, I have a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, a Master's of Education degree in School Guidance and Counseling K-12 from Loyola College Maryland, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in health psychology from the University of Denver. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland and was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota (counseling honor society) while at Loyola College.
I also have completed post-doctoral work in psychopharmacology, as well as continuing education in areas such as integrative medicine, nutrition, telehealth, assessment (autism), ethics, and suicide prevention.
I have worked in the mental health field since 1998, first as a school guidance counselor, and since 2011, as a licensed clinical psychologist. I served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 2008 to 2015 as a Navy psychologist, and have run my own private practice since 2015.

BIO: Stewart is a certified therapy dog who works in the Henderson, NV office.
Stewart is 12-years-old and was found as a stray puppy on the streets of Pensacola, FL. He won first place in his intermediate obedience class in 2013, earned his AKC Good Canine Citizen certificate in 2015, and was certified as a therapy dog in 2015 through Therapy Dogs International. He is one-quarter boxer and one-quarter newfoundland, with a smattering of doberman and greyhound. He loves sleeping and snuggling with his blankies!
